An electronic device that accepts input, processes, data, stores data, and produces output.
Parts of an Information System:
People:is the most important part of any system.*
It content :
Direct: who directly involve in it by using the hardware& software, interface with it and use its output.
Indirect: who use the information system indirectly.
*Software:A series of instructions that tells the computer what to do.
There are two major kinds of software:
-System software
-Application software
*Hardware: The physical components of a computer system:
Keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer, and speaker
procedures: collection of instructions that describe how to integrate the computer components together to process information and get the wanted output.
*Data: Raw and unprocessed facts that doesn't have meaning.
Network: connecting system that allow different computers to share resources
